Mir Taqi Mir (میر تقی میر ) is a big name amongst Urdu poets. He is known as the best poet of the Urdu Language as he did great work in this field. Mir was born in India in 1723 and died in 1810 at the age of 87. Meer Taqi Meer’s Takhlus is Mir (میر) and his name is also spelt as Mir Taqi Mir.
